Description
This single page document is a correspondence piece between W.D Watt (Chairman, St. Croix River Working Party) and Mr. Kenneth Beland (Member, St. Croix River Working Party)

"Dear Mr. Beland:
Enclosed are the 1985 reports on alewives and Atlantic Salmon returning to the Milltown fishway.

I am informed that Ken Beland is working up the 1985 data for Woodland and Grand Falls fishways, and will circulate copies of this report as soon as it is ready. In addition, Ken's group has undertaken to re-read all of the salmon scales collected at Milltown during 1983-85, in an attempt to provide better identification of hatchery returns (Green Lake). A report will be made available soon, based on these revised readings.

After we have all had a chance to digest these various reports, it will be necessary for us to meet for an exchange of opinions and to plan and coordinate next year's program. I shall also require some time, after Ken Beland's new interpretation of scales report becomes available, to incorporate ken's conclusions into the St. Croix River simulation model. Perhaps this year we shall have two versions of the model, based on the rival Canadian and U.S.A. scale readings.

I am open to suggestions as to the time and place of our next meeting. The St. Andrews Biological Station (our traditional meeting site) is still available anytime."
